4-5-15 Prophetic Word of the Week

January 6, 2015
06 Jan 2015

when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.  Ephesians 4:21-24

“My children,  Live as children of the light and be imitators of Jesus Christ. This way the world will recognize your righteousness and you will be set apart for my plan and purpose in your life.  Leave the past behind and continue to be pruned so new branches can come forth and bear fruit.  Put your trust in me and listen for my voice so you don’t go back to your old ways for I have a new path for you and there is no place for the old.  I am coming back  and there will be a remnant that puts me before themselves and the world.  Those that are committed in love and put me before themselves will be delivered from evil and wicked men in the last days.  Persevere and  live in righteousness and holiness.  This is the Word of the Lord.

14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. 15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! Revelation 3:14-15

My children,  Now is the time to rise up and let it be known who you are in Christ and what you stand for.  Lukewarm water is distasteful and so is the believer who is neither hot or cold in his faith. That person is tossed about because his faith flounders and cannot make a stand for righteousness.  His deeds are for his own satisfaction and not for the sake of the Cross.  Jump into the river and totally submerge yourself into the water of everlasting life.  Taste the good things that are freely given to those that are faithful and believe.  Grow your faith in the practice of confession, serving, worship and studying my Word.  These things will bring you joy and the Holy Spirit within you will guide and lead you to a path of knowledge, righteousness and prosperity in every area of your life.  This is the Word of the Lord.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light,  and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”  Isaiah 60: 1-3

“And the Lord is saying, rise up my children, be the head and not the tail; be strong and not weak, show the way, the truth and the life, spreading the gospel of love and salvation that is available to all through the Messiah,  Jesus Christ.  Give up the cravings of this world and crave the Word of God that feeds the soul and the spirit.  Let others see the light that drives away the darkness and be the path that leads others to follow the way of righteousness. Listen for my voice and prophesy so that others will know that I am God because they see the glory that appears over you.  Be bold and bring forth the truth for the time is now and the harvest is ripe.”  This is the Word of the Lord.

3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you. 4 For we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all the saints, 5 because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you have already heard in the word of the truth of the gospel, 6 which has come to you, as it has in all the world, and brings forth fruit, as it has also in you, since the day you heard it and knew the grace of God in truth. Colossians 1:3-6

My Children,  Always give thanks for I have freely given you grace through Jesus Christ that you might be saved from sin and have eternal life.  Live your life rejoicing and with praise on you lips and love in your hearts that others would see the truth of the gospel in you.  Do not be barren; bear fruit for I have given you the power of the Holy Spirit to reach the unsaved and bear witness to hope and love.  Serve one another in love; do not waiver in faith and stand on the rock of salvation.”  This is the Word of the Lord.

15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:15-17

“My Children,  In these times of conflict and confusion, fix your eyes on Jesus and let His peace rule in your hearts.  As one body of Christ, bond together in love and don’t let the foolishness of this world separate you from your walk with Christ or fellowship with each other.  Stand strong as a family and bond together with the love that I have shown you through my Son.  Worship Me by your testimony and be the light in this dark world.  Let your conversation be always full of grace and edifying lifting each other up. And devote your selves to prayer, being watchful and thankful for the Holy Spirit that will lead you into truth and righteousness.  This is the Word of the Lord.

15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. 16 However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all long suffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life. 17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:15-17

My Children, “Be humbled and remember the day before you knew the truth and the condition that you were in with no hope of salvation.  Don’t hesitate to share your past struggles and failures with others so that they may see what the Lord has done for you.  Treasure your faith and hold on to truth and righteousness. Be a strong witness so others can see the difference in you and do not conform to this world.  Resist the inner tugging that is in your remaining flesh and allow the Holy Spirit to win your battles and I who have begun a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”. (Phil 1:6)  Let everything you say and do be for the furthering of the Kingdom and My glory. This is the Word of the Lord.

14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them,“Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about theirphysical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. James 2:14-19

My children, “ True faith will transform your actions as well as your thoughts. You need to change your lifestyle and allow transformation by the Holy Spirit to take place in your life. Your priorities will not be the same as you will have a longing to serve others instead of being served. Your commitment to Me will be a reflection of your love for my people and the works and deeds that accompany this love. Obedience is the key to true faith because I expect commitment. True faith always results in deeds. Remember it was your faith that brought you to salvation but it is your obedience and walk that will prove your faith is genuine. Love each other the way that I have loved you and I will know where your heart lies.”

A small shoebox can teach a child about the love of God, lead him or her to faith, inspire pastors, and plant new churches.  What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out is eternal. Be a part of changing lives through the power of a simple gift.

The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) gives a clear picture of God’s desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, “Go and do likewise.”
