The River of Life is currently planning our first Clambake. The event will likely turn into an annual gathering. The event date and time are still in discussion, but we know it will be scheduled for mid October. The event will have live music from worship leader Rob Custer and special guest Christopher Milo with the potential for other artists as well. Fun, family, friends, games and more. Who doesn’t love a clambake — especially here in Northeast Ohio, one of the nation’s top markets for bakes. What is a clambake you ask? A clambake is an outdoor social gathering at which clams and other seafood (and often chicken, potatoes, and sweet corn) are baked or steamed, traditionally in a pit, over heated stones and under a bed of seaweed. That’s the official definition anyway. But don’t worry, If seafood or steamed clams are not your interest; there will plenty of non seafood available. We are also planning accommodations for both indoor and outdoor as we all know the weather in northeast Ohio can turn on a dime. Keep your eyes peeled on this site for further updates and prepare for the first annual River of Life Clambake!!! More details coming soon.
